InnerWireless ® , Inc., leading provider of in-building wireless
systems, has named Alastair B. Westgarth senior vice president of
product line management. Westgarth joins InnerWireless at a time
of exciting growth, as the company continues to expand its market
share in the commercial, healthcare and government sectors.
At InnerWireless, Westgarth and his team will be responsible for
driving product development for the company’s broadband wireless
utility system. This focus will help to capitalize on the company’s
already successful deployments in many high-profile buildings, such

also be responsible for managing the competitive analysis process,
business-case development and customer relationship assessment.
“There is a recognized need and thus a heightened demand
for the installation of our in-building broadband Wireless Utility

there are continual opportunities for InnerWireless to develop products
and work with vendors to further increase the way wireless can work
indoors,” said Ed Cantwell, president and CEO of InnerWireless.
“Alastair Westgarth’s addition to the InnerWireless
senior leadership team will help InnerWireless further its leadership
status in this marketplace. Alastair’s knowledge base is extensive,
and I am confident that he will help propel InnerWireless as he
manages our existing products and guides the development of new
products to complement the evolving needs of current and future
customers.”
Prior to joining InnerWireless, Westgarth served as executive vice
president of technology and operations at First Broadcasting, which
invests in radio stations across the country to enhance the value
of broadcast properties for individual and group owners. While at
First Broadcasting, Westgarth was responsible for identifying technical
and business upgrades to the FM and AM radio bands throughout the
United States.
Westgarth also was president and CEO of Navini Networks, a provider
of portable broadband wireless access solutions. While at Navini,
Westgarth led the company through several rounds of funding, bringing
in more than $115 million. Westgarth also handled product and business
development and helped appoint Navini’s executive team.
“I am thrilled to be joining InnerWireless’ exceptional
