InnerWireless® Adds Wireless And Technology Industry Veteran To Its Leadership Team

Dr. Janet Lind to help guide company's strategic growth as vice president of product development

RICHARDSON, Texas - July 27, 2006–InnerWireless®, Inc., leading provider of in-building wireless systems, today announced the addition of Dr. Janet Lind as vice president of product development.  Dr. Lind brings extensive wireless and technology industry experience to InnerWireless and will further strengthen the company’s competitive advantages by expanding its product line to meet the needs of the healthcare, commercial, hospitality and government markets worldwide.

Dr. Lind has served in various C-level and executive roles with Cyneta Networks, Nortel Networks and Siemens, and her wireless experience includes consulting with InnerWireless while it developed Spot, the company’s radio frequency location application.

Immediately prior to joining InnerWireless, Lind held numerous leadership positions in the wireless, technology and education industries, most recently serving as the assistant dean for the University of Texas at Dallas’ Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science.

At InnerWireless, Dr. Lind is responsible for the design, development and delivery of compelling products and solutions that address the needs of mobile enterprises.  One area of focus will be modular designs for integrated wireless devices that will address different communications infrastructures around the world.  During her career, Dr. Lind has honed her expertise in creating and delivering mobile wireless products for voice and data services, including location application development and other software for wireless systems.

“Janet’s skills will be immediately called upon as InnerWireless develops new products, like Spot, that move InnerWireless beyond infrastructure elements into bundled solutions that guarantee performance outcomes for our customers,” said Ed Cantwell, president and CEO of InnerWireless.  “Adding such a proven industry veteran will help InnerWireless continue to broaden the ways we help customers manage their wireless ecosystems, whether it’s a hospital, commercial building or government facility.  Janet’s extensive industry experience and her passion for building lasting business relationships will create value for InnerWireless, our customers and our investors.”

“InnerWireless delivers value on investment to its customers because the Wireless Utility is engineered to handle current and future RF-communications needs, so the total cost of ownership is dramatically less than deploying multiple discrete systems,” said Lind.  “It’s exciting to join InnerWireless at a time when it is having such notable success because business leaders see the value of what InnerWireless offers.”
